NLCast Requirements: Part II
Okay class… Class! Can we begin? I’ll wait for you to close that MySpace tab. Good, let’s begin with lesson two.
As you know we’re in the process of directing you to several required internet pitstops featuring stuff that has influenced us. This is in hopes that you’ll get even more of our jokes and references. It also helps with the brainwashing.
I don’t think any one person has influenced us more than comedian, Brian Regan. I found out about him back in 2000 and quickly shared him with everyone I knew. It was a startling realization the day I realized I was telling more people about Brian than Jesus.
Brian is classic, cool and clean. His CD, “Brian Regan Live” is genius from the first track to the last. His single goal in life is to not look stupid… and it’s not working out to well. Since then he’s done a couple of DVDs including his most recent, “Brian Regan: Standing Up” (available August 14th).
Listening to his CD is REQUIRED of all NLCast listeners. You can find a good bit of it via YouTube.

I’m feeling good about the requirements so far. I have been a long time fan of both homestar and regan. I can wait for whats next, I’m sure I have done that too. (mabye learn a musical insturment)
I just wanted to say that this blog post of yours actually now has a very unusual significance for me.
On July 29th, these Brian Regan videos were playing loudly in the other room when I briefly spoke with my dad. I had no idea at the time that he would die two days later and that that was the last time I would ever talk with him.
