James, David,
I absolutely loved the featured story! And not just because I sent it in.
James you read it perfectly. While I was listening, emotions flooded back to me like I was back in 1981.
I still remember going over to speak with his wife. That was brutal!
It was so funny to hear it again when you read it! At the time it happened, it was not as funny. I seriously thought that I messed up my entire life getting involved in this. We honestly thought that there was no “Becky”. We assumed that he was just bragging.
After we found out that “Becky” was real! I knew that we had to come clean, and do the right thing in the end. OK, four days later!
I truly did feel better after talking to his wife. I don’t know what happened to them after they moved to New Mexico. All I know is, that it thought me a very important lesson indeed!
Thanks for such a a great Podcast. I love the show, and never miss a episode.
Hey David, thanks for calling me a loser because I didn’t have a girlfriend at age 17! Yea, that’s right I heard it. LOL
Thanks again to both of you for reading my story!
Joey
Is anyone else having problems downloading this epi? The file size is only 64k!
No problems on my end. The show downloaded great to my iPod last night.
Joey
Ah, I got it! I just had to clear my browser cache first.
Thanks Joey!
Joey, thanks for sending in that amazing story! It was so good a robot could have read it and still gotten a huge laugh!
James,
You don’t have to post this comment.
I just wanted to thanks for posting on my site, and subscribing! You and David were a big inspiration for my friends and starting a podcast.
I really needed a stress removal/hobby for sure!
I hope to one day be a “professional” as you and David are on the air! Any suggestions, pointers, or comments from you are encouraged, and welcomed!
Thanks again,
Joey
