My Christmas List
My wife has been asking for months what I want for Christmas. For the first time ever I’ve really struggled to give her an answer. This is for several reasons. First, I have become more conscious of our budget and what things cost. Secondly, I don’t really go around wanting stuff like I used to (I think having kids makes you less self-centered). Thirdly, everything I would want costs way more than our Christmas budget.
But still she asks. Check out my list after the break:
So I’m going to try to punch out a quick list things to give her some ideas… in no particular order. You can help too by making suggestions in the comments… or just share your wish list!
Assassin’s Creed

I know nothing about this game other than it looks cool and is cheap to acquire at the local GameStop on the used rack. Since I’m a little late to the 360 gaming scene, there are a lot of games that are considered ‘old’ that I’ve never played… and they’re pretty cheap!
Fable

I’ve heard a lot of great things about this game. Every one’s pretty excited about Fable 2… but since I never owned an XBox, I never played it. I’d like to… then on to Fable 2.
Dead Space

I don’t care that this game is considered one of the most disappointing games of 2008. I don’t care that it was just like a modern remake of Doom. I want to play it!
The Dark Knight DVD

I don’t own this movie yet. I need to own it before the year is out. Christmas is my only hope.
iPhone

Though I have decided that the universe doesn’t want me to ever own it… I still want an iphone. I want one badly. Someone please make Sprint let my family out of it’s contract now (instead of July) so I can buy one.
2nd Wireless Controller for 360

I have a dream that if I owned a 2nd controller, I might get my wife to play co-op with me on a few games. Maybe she’d like Lego Batman.
XBox LIVE points

There are a lot of great games in the XBL Arcade. I’d like to know that for a fact rather than just imagining it.
So what do you suggest? What would you add? What do you want for Christmas?

I would say Mirror’s Edge is a must, it rocks!
(That “Top ten most disappointing games of 2008″ is a lie… Just like the cake.)
Lego Indiana Jones’s is really good, if you like that kinda game.
All the big games are good, GoW2, CoD:WaW, Halo 3 etc.
Fable, I could send you it for PC.
(If you do get it get The Lost Chapters)
Get Fallout 3. You will be able to play the game 3 times. Maybe more! Plus with DLC, Down Loadable Content, coming next year… Drink the kool-aide!
the gift that keeps on giving – jelly of the month club! lol
we always tease my 9 year old that he’s going to get paperclips & staples for Christmas….
