New Site Up – Let The Complaining Begin

I’m aware of several issues with the site:

  • Comics aren’t displaying on comic post pages
  • Main menu drop-downs are huge and wrong color
  • Border on thumbnails is blue
  • Bottom navigation on main page doesn’t work

But other than those, if you find any issues, please let me know.

    I havn’t run into any issues so far. I like that you stuck with the same color scheme.

      I think the Orange/Brown look is here to stay. :)

    Well, my bookmark takes me to the main page. I used to highlight ‘Community’ and it’d give me a list of options on where to go (i.e. forums, watch live, social networking, etc.). Well, I see that thing on the very top in the gray bar, but it’ll only show the options. It won’t let me click on them. The list disappears before I get a chance to click on it. It’s wierd. So lately, I’ve just been clicking on one of the links in the “Recent Forum Posts” section on the front page to get to the forums.

      What browser are you using? I can’t seem to recreate that on any of mine. :(

    I really like it. I like the colors, the way it looks, the way it works. I give it 5/5 this is one of the most unique and best looking websites out there.

    Much cleaner! Good work.

    I see the same problem as Koreo. Using IE7 (have to at work). Mouse over the community button (and others) at the top and the options appear, but try to mouse over to them and they disappear before I can click on them. They are also appearing down and to the right of the item on the menu bar, instead of directly below.

      Thanks for the extra info. I was using IE 8 and it’s working fine… but in compatability mode I was able to recreate the issue. I’ll get to work on it soon.

    I'm trying to access the archived podcasts but it's not letting me. I try to mouse over the dropdown menu but it's not working.

      This is a known issue with IE 7. I'm going to try to fix it ASAP but in the mean time you can use Firefox or IE 8.

    I had Firefox…until the computer crashed. So I'm temporarily stuck with IE. So I'll just deal for now.

      I'm going to have a look today and see if I can get it fixed. Now that I've seen the issue myself it should be easier to fix.

    I've made some changes to the main menu. It works properly in IE 7… though I'm far from finished with the styling, spacing and such. Thanks for the feedback folks.

    For some reason when I look at this site in Opera it's all gray and plain but when I look at it in Firefox, it's orange and everything again. You should probably look into that.

      Is the site still usable? If so, it's just an Opera thing. I'm not worried about colors… just function. :)

        Yeah, it works but the comics don't come up and it's a very plain layout.
