Cute Girl Stole My Design!
A while back I drew up this NERD shirt for a shirt.woot.com competition.
That was like years ago… Then today this guy Chris emails me:
Don’t know if you’ve ever heard of the Totally Rad Show from Revision3. It’s a pretty popular Video pop culture podcast. I may have seen someone sporting your NerD glasses t-shirt at a Q&A they had at Comic-Con ‘09. Check out the episode from 8/3/09 “Ponzu-Funny People”. At 24:50 the girl asking the panel question has on the “NerD” glasses t-shirt. Is that your design?

So this gal from Santa Monica either made herself a t-shirt using my design… or some joker has stolen it and is selling t-shirts that this gal bought one of.
I don’t know if I’m ticked or honored. My design is on The Totally Rad Show after all… and at Comic Con. Not that it matters at all ever forever.

Just goes to show you, you’re a creative genius who should be sitting in his gold plated mansion while his two children run around in the newest nerd gear.
I’ve wanted that shirt since I first saw it in your old posts. I don’t like the tag line she added though, it takes away from the simplicity of the design, also it destroys the subtlety.
