Miss Model Citizen only appears as a video clip in Chapter One of the book, but when I was writing it I wanted to illustrate what she looked like. Since her time was split in half by the Vietnam War I gave her two looks which is mentioned in Chapter One. When she started her work she looked like a typical comic book hero with a bright costume, but after years of work and then being told to come back to America only, her costume changes to reflect the gritty reality of the world she lives in. Even her name changes to Miss Model.
